Kevin O’Brien is an international touring stand up comedian based in Brooklyn, New York by way of Denver. He was named a “comic to watch” by the Denver Post and described as having, “a laissez-faire persona and indignant material." He has also appeared on Viceland, the A.V. Club and NPR. O’Brien is the host of the monthly comedy debate series and podcast Arguments & Grievances, which was featured on Laugh Button’s Best Podcasts and is available on the podcast network. He has appeared at a number of festivals including the High Plains Comedy Festival, Laughing Devil Comedy Festival, and The Fest in Gainesville.

In addition to his comedic pursuits, O’Brien is a noted pop culture junkie who has written about music for a number of publications that his parents haven’t heard of. His love of music goes beyond the page as a regular DJ and member of the punk band Big City Drugs, who were named one of the best new bands of 2016 by Westword. When he isn’t spreading himself too thin you can find O’Brien sleeping in with his basset hound Oscar.
