Since 2006, comedian Jordan Wieleba has been bringing her edgy and fierce style of comedy to audiences across Colorado. In 2011, Jordan came out publicly as transgender and has since been educating and entertaining crowds about the lifestyle by incorporating it in her material. Not your average comedian, Jordan's unique look on life sets her apart from the norm.
Jordan performs regularly throughout Colorado and abroad and is making a name for herself as a popular and different comedian. Her act has been described as "real," "fearless," "universally relatable" and having a "brilliant resilience." Jordan was awarded a Westword Best of Denver award for "Best Transgender Comedian" in 2013, has graced the cover of Out Front Colorado and has since become one of the state’s leading LGBTQ entertainers.
She is also a strong advocate for trans* and LGBTQ rights and raises social justice awareness and leadership training by speaking publicly to schools, colleges, conferences and organizations around the country.
Along with stand-up comedy and public speaking, Jordan is also a writer and professional graphic designer/illustrator. Recently, she provided illustrations for the book Sharing the Good News: A Positive Model for Coming Out as Transgender.
Not only can Jordan be seen regularly at comedy clubs and showcases, she is also currently running the popular monthly comedy/variety show "Something Fabulous" [presented by Sexpot Comedy]. She has also performed in Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival and Toronto’s SheDot Comedy Festival.
Earlier in 2015, Jordan recorded her first live album Estrogentrification! It will be available for download this summer!
