Aaron Urist is an American stand up comedian based in Denver, Colorado. He has been acclaimed across the breadth of media for being extremely funny, very handsome, and also sort of smart. He recently made his television standup debut on Viceland's Flophouse. At his home club, one of the finest in the world—Denver's Comedy Works—he was the first ever comic to progress directly from amateur status all the way to the professional regular roster. He is the co-creator and co-host of Power Move, a comedy show which donates 100% of its proceeds to important causes, organizations, and charities. He is a regular on the High Plains Comedy Festival and has also been featured at the Big Sky and Crom Comedy Festivals. A frequent road opener for fellow Denverite Josh Blue, he has opened for some of the best acts in the nation, such as Dave Chappelle, Anthony Jeselnik, Dave Attell, Norm MacDonald, TJ Miller, Kyle Kinane, Janeane Garofalo, Todd Barry, and countless others. He can be found performing his "art" at comedy clubs, theaters, independent venues, and pizza parlors across the United States.
