In just five years, Aaron Urist has gone from being just another nice Jewish boy around the Denver open mics to being a real live professional comedian. He recently made his television standup debut on Viceland's Flophouse, and is a regular on The High Plains Comedy Festival. He has performed at some of the greatest venues in the country, such as the Denver's Paramount Theater, the Nerdmelt Theater, The Hollywood Improv, and Denver's Comedy Works—arguably the finest comedy club in the world—where he was the first comic ever to jump straight from amateur all the way to the professional regular roster. He has opened for some of the best acts in the nation, such as Dave Chappelle, Anthony Jeselnik, TJ Miller, Kyle Kinane, Janeane Garofalo, Todd Barry, and many others. He can be seen giving crowds the business at clubs, theaters, independent venues, and pizza parlors across the United States.
